Baby on the Way!!!!!!
Since I've announced the news on Facebook, I figured I could finally start blogging about what is really on my mind lately..... we are having a baby!!! The due date is December 31st and we are all very excited. Because of our last experience, I waited a loooooong time to tell anyone and was frankly a nervous wreck for the first 12 weeks. At about 10 weeks we had to tell close family and we did tell the kids because it was getting a little obvious and harder to hide.
I had quite a few ultrasounds at the beginning, which was basically my doctor's way of trying to get me to relax a little bit. It did help a lot seeing that heartbeat, I can't believe how much I took that for granted with my other two. Noah really wants a baby brother and Ella really wants a baby sister. Shocking! One of them has a pretty good chance of getting their wish!

Kansas City Trip
We took a fun week-end trip last week with the kiddos to Kansas City. We had dinner at the T-Rex Cafe and did some shopping. The kids had fun building a dinosaur and playing in the fountain.
The next day we went to the Kansas City Zoo. Seth and the kids got to feed some Lorikeets. I bowed out so I could take pictures (and cause I don't really like birds), and I have never laughed so hard as I did when the bird landed on Noah's head. He was so brave!
Later that day we went to Kaleidoscope, which is a part of Hallmark and is a place where kids can do different crafts. They loved it!

Little Painters
Seth had some painting on the house to do this weekend and the kids wanted to help. Rather than handing them a paintbrush and some paint to put on the house, we found some old paint and an empty box and let them have at it in the front yard. They had a blast. And made a holy mess. Which of course makes it more fun.
